AMIA CARE respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information, guided by the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
Information you give us when you contact us or place an order, such as your name, email address, phone number and delivery address, and the details of your order. We don't ask for health information, and we don't need it to supply our products.
How we use it
To respond to enquiries, process and deliver orders, provide customer support, meet our legal obligations and, only if you agree, send you updates. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time.
Who we share it with
We share information only as needed with service providers who help us run the business, such as payment processing, delivery, email and website hosting. Some providers may store data outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it. We do not sell your personal information.
Payments
When online payments are available, card details will be handled by our payment provider and will not be stored by AMIA CARE.
Cookies and browser storage
The site uses your browser's local storage to remember the items in your cart. We don't currently use advertising cookies. If we add analytics or marketing tools, we'll update this policy first.
Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to access or correct your personal information, or make a privacy complaint, by emailing orders@amiacare.com.au. We'll respond within a reasonable time. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page.
